Jules Galbraith is a Tiohtià:ke/Montreal based artist, writer, and student working across poetics, risograph printing, creative web development, 3D, editorial design, and textiles. They are a founding member of the community-oriented tech studios Cyberlove Garden and an affiliate of World Creation Studio. Their practice and research centres around historical and contemporary techniques of handicraft, asking how slow and durational processes of learning and making enrich our relationship to the materiality of the built and natural environment, fostering agency and care in a technological context where speed, consumption, and violence are the norm. Jules has attended residencies hosted by Softer Digital Futures (2021), World Creation Studio (2023), and The Museum of Loss and Renewal. They are currently completing a masters of Media Studies at Concordia University.
