Marjolaine Béland holds a master’s degree in communication – interactive media and a doctorate in art studies and practices. Her current creative re search, Cercle des passages indécis, explores hybrid forms at the intersection of installation art and augmented reality. Marjolaine Béland is an associate professor at École des médias (Université du Québec à Montréal) where she has taught since 2001. She also teaches in the DESS in Arts, Creation and Technologies and in the Department of Communication at Université de Montréal. She is a member of the labdoc research group (UQAM) dedicated to the study of documentary film.
